Ashley M. Nieto PT, DPT is from Miami, FL and obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Florida International University. While completing her Bachelors Degree in Science at Florida International University, she ran Track and Cross Country. Prior to her collegiate career, she competed nationally in Tae Kwon Do and was a six-time Florida state gold medalist. Her hobbies include traveling, working out, reading and spending time with family.

Prior to specializing in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Ashley practiced in out-patient Orthopedics treating various conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, sprains/strains as well as post-surgical care for ACL tears, rotator cuff repairs and lumbar fusions.

After working in Orthopedics with post-surgical cases that involved many weeks of rehabilitation, she realized that there was a huge need for post-partum rehabilitation for women.  This passion guided her to seek out extensive continuing education to assist as many people with pelvic floor disorders as possible!

 

Ashley specializes in treating pre and post natal conditions as well as chronic pain syndromes including but not limited to endometriosis, vulvodynia and vaginismus.
